This digital piece was inspired, in part, by a poem by child prodigy Akiane Kramerik entitled "The Infinity Of Beginning." The poem spoke to my heart during a particularly challenging period of my life and the image captures conflicting feelings of peace and inner turmoil wrapped in a sphere of comforting love. A closer look reveals the reflection of a troubled face peering out through the fog of a tear drop perched like dew on a leaf over a dark foreboding abyss.
