David Pringle was born on in 1972 in the town of Preston. He began drawing from a very early age and quickly became completely devoted to perfecting the art. He studied art in high school then took further education at Tuson College , taking a general and fine art course to further develop techniques and understanding. At that time he was introduced to and influenced by many styles of art and went on to experiment in impressionism, abstract and surrealism. By this time a highly accomplished draftsman with an eye for perfection and heavily influenced by Dali his work took a route down the surrealist path, later to return momentarily to classical styles.
Primarily I paint from the heart and I take my inspiration from all that I see. From that spark the idea is taken to sketch pad or canvas. I'm always trying new styles going with my emotions and the feel of the paint. |
