Artist's Biography Liz Gini grew up in Moab, Utah and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1967. There, she raised a daughter and pursued several career paths. She became a massage therapist, a paralegal, a journalist, and a real estate developer. Always a frustrated artist, with no ability to draw or paint, Liz encouraged her artistically talented daughter to pursue her path. (See www.jennygini.zoomshare.com) After purchasing a cigar box purse, and receiving rave reviews, Liz decided to try her hand at making them for friends and relatives. Soon, she was receiving requests for her one-of-a-kind handbags, and valet boxes. Liz's eye for color, form, and style is evident in her original boxes. Cigar boxes are made of hardwoods and cedar, many with outstanding logos and descriptions. Liz preserves the integrity of the boxes while adding unique designs and hand-beaded handles, which make each a wearable work of art. The designs pictured here can be ordered, but no two are exactly alike due to various box sizes, wood shades, and that hand-made, original artist’s touch. Many people send Liz favorite pictures of loved ones and of their own choosing, which Liz turns into family treasures, preserved forever in a truly unique box. With these bags, comments and compliments are guaranteed from men and women alike. |
