Artist Biography for Ahmed Abdel Fattah Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Fattah ( 1910 - 2007 ) Born in Cairo – March 30, 1910 . Died in New Jersy - 31 December 2007 Diploma from the "Fine Arts High School" – 1934 . Produced the first Egyptian cartoon film together with Anton Selim And Ahmed Selim in 1937 . Diploma from the "Education High Institute" – 1939 . Teacher of drawing in different schools . Retired in 1970 as a General Inspector at the Ministry Of Education . Lived in Alexandria since 1945 where he founded the first museum for arts education in collaboration with his colleague Hussein Roushdi . He kept on his Passion for painting since 1930 until now . "Academic – Realism – Impressionnism" are his main interests. One Painting "Motherhood" is owned by the Museum Of Modern Art. First solo exhibition "Water color & Pastel" at the Mahmoud Said Museum – 2001 . Participated in Mahmoud Said festivals 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 &2007 . Second solo exhibition "Oil Painting" at "Alexandria Center of Creativity" - 2004 . Participated in "Small Works" exhibition at Mahmoud Said museum – 2005 . Guest of Honor at the "Arab Artists Festival" at EL-Sawy Cultural Wheel – 2005 .
