Teaching and Related Experience:

Pottery Instructor, La Mano Pottery, New York City, NY. Teacher of wheel throwing 2008

Pottery Instructor, Coyote Clay Studios, Albuquerque, NM. Teacher of wheel throwing and hand building since 2000 to 2005. Other responsibilities for the studio include: Kiln firing (electric, soda and up and down draft gas kilns, raku). Kiln maintenance, including replacing coils in both manual and digital electric kilns. Studio supervisor. Prepare glazes for sale in retail store.

Substitute Teacher, Albuquerque Public Schools, Albuquerque, NM; positions include a long term teaching assignment in a high school ceramics class.

Potters Liaison for Full Hearts Filling Empty Bowls 2004. Empty Bowls is a fund raiser for Project Share, a local organization to feed the homeless in Albuquerque, NM. Liaison helps organize bowl throwing/making parties both private and public events to sell at the fund raiser.

President UNM Ceramic Club, member since 2003. President fall semester 2004.Club brings in visiting artists every semester. Past artists include Mel Jacobsen and Kurt Weiser. We also help students to attend workshops and the NCECA conference.
