The exile They left with a thin bagage paper without a passport no other name than a face Having no more for any house Let an end of the horizon For a land of hope for all the brothers of exile They left with an anguish prison To lay their steps on a few square meters of free land Maybe they left with the bottom of their pocket A little of that land where they were born A little of this land left by their ancestors A land more often watered with tears and pain than rain They left a hard and so loved land Let them mix with another land bearing in it a seed that will bring the hope of another life to their children to root for a new land... text of Christian Tarroux
