For this work, I let myself immerse myself in the night environment of Funicular, above the cliff, in the city of Tréport, in Normandy. The funicular of the Tréport is a line of inclined elevators that connect the lower quarters of Tréport to the top of the cliff. I chose the atmosphere of this place, because I find this place particularly enchanting It takes a spectacular dimension at night. To access it, I just have to immerse my body in the glass cabin. The elevator begins its vertiginous descent. I feel the slightest turmoil, the least shaking I feel the floor of the cabin trembling under my feet but very quickly, I feel protected by the heat of stone of the tunnel. The regular and repetitive lines of the brick envelop me in a bubble. Then, at the outskirts of the underground, I get surprised by the nightscape that offers to me. This visual labyrinth is punctuated with warm and tonic light and last I, thrones the cliffs. They are above all, they dominate me. They seem to play my insignificance by their colossal size and tempacular matter. I exclusively lend them my gaze, the space of the rise, and then it is already time to go.
