St-Emilion is built on a hill. His streets and alleys are steep and paved, for the most part. Very old city, its picturesque and its setting are very popular. Tourism is focused on wine and vine, artisanal products and painting also find their place.
I made oil paintings, watercolours and engravings. This one represents the street of the Gadennes, I believe, a downhill street leading to the lower center of the city. This street is lined with canelés and macarons (specialities in the area!).
