STEREOLAB is my favorite band of all time. They are a dream come true. Blending moog synthesizers and retro electro noises, beatnik lounge music, Velvet Underground guitar stylings, cherubic sweet celestrial female voices, delicious otherworldly drums and rhythm machines, with social commentary and philosophical lyrics, this is the only music you need. Highly recommended albums\EPs include, in order of brilliance: (1.) "Margarine Eclipse" (2.) "ABC Music (BBC Radio 1 tracks)" (3.) "Transient Random Noise Bursts with Announcements" (4.) "Peng!" (5.) "Instant 0 in the Universe" (6.) "Mars Audiac Quintet" (7.) "Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night" (8.) "Switched On" (9.) "First of the Microbe Hunters" (10.) "Refried Ectoplasm" (12.) "Dots and Loops" Upcoming "Oscillons from the Anti-Sun" 3 CD 1 DVD set looks good, as does "Aluminum Tunes" 2 CD set which I don't have yet. The music sounds something like this digital painting "Splutter Zone".
