| Emerging self-taught artist, born in Montreal in 1978. Italian origin, now residing in Chios, a Greek island in the Aegean sea. I'm a multicultural artist attempting to join reality and fantasy with a minimalistic yet incisive style. With every painting I try to create a small world of colors and situations, always with disarming tenderness and emotional depth, challenging my world conscience and my innate artistic maturity.. The eyes are the window to the soul... among the glares and the stares I try to capture that same sentiment through my subjects' eyes. Emotionally transmitting what words cannot. A definite style isn't yet apparent due to continuous exploration, although one cannot deny the freshness and purity of naive art throughout my work... My paintings express the world around me with the things that intrigue me like culture minorities or the things that I'm passionate about like nature and animals. ; |
