Fauvist, expressionist abstract vineyard painting inspired by my travels in Italy. Very vibrant painting with rich colors , including brilliant purples, blues, greens and violets that cannot be accurately captured on a photograph. This painting does not represent a particular winery, but rather an emotional impression of the vineyards in Toscany (or in Sonoma, Napa Valley or France) in the heat of summer when a storm is approaching and the colors are intensified.
