I was born and live in beautiful South Africa.

My studio is in a corner of my home in Durban on the East Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

I have a passion for bright colours and love to paint just about anything. I plan my paintings with a pencil drawing, most of the time it does not go as planned as I get carried away and just have so much fun, the drawing does give me a good start and the planning gives me confidence

I started painting 8 years ago with no formal training; I have had art teachers and have learnt a great deal. I now go to as many workshops as possible and try to learn all the time by looking at shapes and shadows. I will never stop learning. I paint under the pseudonym of "Jozi" this is my nick name.

My ambition is for people to recognize my painting and to get as much enjoyment out of my paintings as I do painting them.
