This picture represents the Hawaiian healing process for restoring and repairing broken relationships through forgiveness, sincerity, respect, and clear communication. Of course, humility is the first step to this process. The man kneeling before the woman represents humbling pride, denial, and arrogance to receive from the woman who represents love, compassion, and forgiveness. The swirling pattern in the back represents a fingerprint which symbolizes healing the identity. The line with the triangles going through the back of the picture represents maintaining a balance between heaven and earth and mind and heart.
