Artist's Biography Vladan Lazarov was born in Pancevo, Serbia in 1956. In the period from 1993 to 2003 he lived and worked in Malta, where he exhibited and sold his works successfully. He had his first exhibition in february 1994, at the "Sara Grech Real Estate Ageancy"; in august of the same year Vladan had his next exhibition which was organised by the UNHCR. The exhibiton was inaugurated by the president of Malta at the time, Dr. Ugo Mifsud Bonnici, and it took place at the Malta National Museum of Archaeology in the capital city of Valletta. In 2001 Vladan had an exhibition at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta, Malta. That same year, Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce organised a biennale, named "The Silver Pallette". Vladan, a member of the said society, entered in the competition with three of his works, whereby he was awarded as the Best Foreign Artist. In the meantime, Vladan exhibited his works in various galleries throughout Malta as well as having his works in private collections throughout Italy. Vladan's paintings can currently be seen at the Gallery "Portici" in Merano, Alto Adige, Italy. Vladan's works are mainly watercolours, oils on canvas and acrylics. He is currently living and working in Pancevo, Serbia. |
