About the Artist Franklin Casierra was born in Esmeraldas, Republic of Ecuador in 1952. When he was in high school, and during his spare time, he enrolled by mail in the ''Moder School of Art''. He never graduated in this school . However, he self-tought artistic knowledge since his early years,enriched and granted him vast experience, specialy with nib works, acrylic and oil painting. Casierra's thematic is universal, giving preference to portrait, surrealism, figurative, abstract and typical surrounding themes. His work has been exhibited in Cultural Centers,galleries and Museums of Ecua dor and the United State. Casierra is a member of the Hudson Artist of NJ, Inc. A non-profit group of amateurs and profesionals artists.
