I paint to share the unexpected beauty I see in people, places, and objects. I am passionate about my subjects and believe that a touch of my own spirit is reflected in my work. My hope is to seduce you with sensual compositions that evoke strong feelings in you. Accurate drawing skills, sound painting techniques, and strong compositions are the foundation of my paintings.

I create an under painting in browns to obtain a realistic drawing, I then create a painting surface that, when viewed from a distance, results in realistic imagery and color.  Although realistic depictions are my main goal, it is also important that the subject painted “feels” like I have captured its soul.  As an artist, I want to share my passion with those who appreciate the beauty, hope, and inspiration that art can achieve.

I have created all my life.  Interior design, my profession for many years has taught me the importance of composition and color/ This, of course, has influenced my present work.  I am inspired by the exquisite works of Sargent, Sarolla, Chase and Cassatt.

My style is a relaxed mixture of realism and impressionism.  My studies with master contemporary artists has increased my understanding of the painting process and nudged from my existing style nuances that enhances and colors my work.

I draw and paint from my studio in Millington, New Jersey.

I am a representational artist working primarily in oils. I have loved creating for as long as I can remember, probably at 3 or 4 years old.  Dabbled in my youth and painted more off than on until 6 years ago.  At that time in my life...time and space opened up for me and I got into my calling in earnest.  2 years into painting and I won my first Award of Excellence for "Love"  and then the following year won an Award of Excellence for "Fruit and Flowers"  Last month I won an Award of Excellence for "Determined"  .  Also, last month I was pleasantly surprised to view the following Youtube video:

Composer, Jorge Bennett contacted me and asked if one of my paintings "Playing Debussy" could be used in his video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxAbJ3plMW4) featuring his original composition and poem... it's beautiful.  Wow is my painting in very good company: Innes, Bouguereau, Chase, Homer and Monet.  Thank you Jorge.

I am praised, I am selling and I am extremely honored....I thank God for giving me the opportunity to explore my lifes's work and having the world approve.
