Having returned to Kingston, following a decade-long absence, I have begun painting in earnest. The gallery of images presented here, roughly show the range of styles and media I am currently exploring.

Thematically, I have been exploring the concept of 'Dreams' and how cultural factors tend to greatly influence the value given to the conscious recollection of the dream process. Many of the larger works in this online gallery form the bulk of this exhibition. Furthermore, I intend to exhibit these 'dream images' with a series of portraits in various styles. Thus the complete exhibit would feature the 'dream images' and 'the dreamers'. The larger question this exhibition highlights, is how modernization is at odds with cultural 'wisdoms' that in many older societies are extensions of spirituality which often are intrinsically tied to the subconscious mind and our dreams.
