Hello! I want to announce a glass sculpture "Head of snarling bear." Probably, it will be a big lamp on the wall. It is made of two parts, upper and lower limit can be seen in the photograph. Ceramic graphite mold for the top portions will be 5 to the bottom - 3 parts. Canines will be made separately and then attached using a UV adhesive. Later I will publish photos of ceramic graphite molds and the finished sculpture. Thank you.Continuation, and again - hello everyone. I've been busy working for another project - a wall lamp like a deer head. But he also made a bear's head. Here is a photo of the preliminary result of this work. These are ceramic graphite molds for the lower and upper parts of the sculpture. These are blown glass sculpture parts made using these ceramic graphite molds. This is a preliminary comparison of the unprocessed parts of the sculpture. Still need to remove the unnecessary walls of these two parts, then to connect both, using UV glue.
The glass teeth of the bear are ready. I will present the results of the process later. Thanks.

Hello, my name is Rashid Bakirov, I Tatar, born in 1959 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I am married and have three children. After the collapse of the empire (USSR) I'm with my family forced to emigrate from Uzbekistan in the metropolis, and until 2010 lived in the Russian capital of glass art town of Gus-Crystal. After the crisis of 2008 and the closure of the glass factory, I moved from town to town to catch up leaving the country the art glass industry. I said goodbye to her close the factory in the city of Saratov, where I live now. But recently I was invited to a new project yet small studio art glass. I really hope to use here all of my research in the field of blown glass, fusing, molding and glass recycling. Thank you, Sincerely, Rashid.
