Artistic approach
In the beginning, there is the rusted sheet metal. I tried to accompany the traces left by the oxidation by adding the necessary paint, ochres, shadow lands, blacks, what to sublimate the rust, then it is imposed the colored touches of the loincloths. This rusty sheet, whose tears, sinkings and holes measure the flow of time, returns characters and timeless forms. Painting on rusty metal is revealing an image, awakening the memory of a being who would return from the past and whom I give the opportunity to come back to life. Figures come to life, figures that could themselves come from a still warm memory, from those that still inhabit us and that it would be important to revive to prolong the speech a little. I am guided by the message of sheet metal and rust. I let myself express my emotions through spontaneous and intuitive expression.
