I was guest artist at the Riverside Festival, Gainsborough in 2004. My work is inspired by my interest in music, movies, comics, culture and pop art. Some of my work has fine-art realism and other pieces are created using collage and acrylic paint on canvas. The collage pieces are well chosen pieces of magazine or newspaper with relevance to the subject of the painting. This gives the piece a subtle fanzine appearance. Artists which have inspired me include Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Litchenstein. I have an exhibition running from August 21st-September 28th at Gainsborough Trinity Arts Centre. I also have an ongoing exhibition of works for sale at Hemswell Craft Centre, Lincolnshire. I have had work in Artfulness Gallery, York, and they continue to support me.
