Doug Androsoff has been working with stone, in the art of lapidary, for over thirty-five years. Born and raised in British Columbia, Doug's parents were earth loving artists that spent many hours outdoors in work and play. During his many early years of rock-hounding the mountain sides and valleys of British Columbia, Doug developed his natural instinct to "read the rock" through his understanding the language of rock formations, outcroppings, rock specimens, fosills, minerals and the like.

;

     After many years of research and study, Doug's artistic talents began to awaken after learning the art of lapidary, embarking on a new journey into creative expression.
