About me and my work Born February 18, 1958 in a small town of approximately 6,500 people called Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg is located on the beautiful Coast of Mendocino in California. Our main industry is/was Fishing and Timber. Both have all but just about dissappeared. In High School I began my love for Art, experimenting with different types of Media, (the normal to the not so normal). Here is where I found my love for Abstract Artwork. Recently, I became ill and have a problem with remembering things, like how to draw a tree or Ocean scene. Not giving up I bought myself a camera and started taking photographs of our beautiful Coast and flowers in my yard. Using various programs I take the traditional/normal photo and turn it into what I like to call Abstract Delights. My work is unusual, unique and one of a kind (I think). My favorite Artist is Georgia O'keeffe, I love her work! My favorite things to do are camping, horseback riding, photography, gardening and cooking. I've not attended any fancy colleges to learn how to do Abstract work, I just taught myself. Abstract work lets one take their imigination to the limit. Here's hoping you enjoy my work! I'm down to earth and not the best speller around so I hope I have not made any errors in my spelling. |
