This original leaded art glass talisman measures 13 x 11 inches and is one of a kind. The piece contains a dichroic star, which reflects different colors from various angles. The light changing quality of dichroic glass is almost magical. Dichroic glass is somewhat a misnomer, since the dielectric coating that produces all the interesting colors is not glass at all but very thin layers of metal oxides supported on glass. Bevels, jewels and crystals are also included in this piece. It is constructed with Bullseye Fuchsia*Glass in the Tiffany copper foil method. The panel is framed in clear glass nuggets* and hung from a chain.
