Exposition of Sophie Dogor and Maurice Béranger

Located 15 km east of Nice, on the road to the painted chapels, as the crow flies from the Mediterranean sea, Monaco and Menton. The old village is 380 meters high and is truly an eagle’s eyrie, its oldest houses date back to the XVIIth century. The church at the top of the village is of baroque influence. The village’s treasure is the chapel of the « White Penitents » whose frescos were painted by Giovanni Canavesio in 1495.
The old railway station has been made into a museum as have the olive oil and flour mills down in the valley.
