I'm a self taught artist from Southern California. I've been an artist since I was 7 years old. I have always loved art and knew it would be one of my many passions in life. I work with many different mediums but find acrylics and pencils to be my most favorite mediums to work with. I've illustrated 2 childrens books, "The Present Monster" and "Oscar the Owl". I love listening to international music, I find it very inspiring when I'm creating my art work. My art allows me to escape deep into my imagination and create whatever I feel in my heart. As an artist my art depends on what kind of mood I'm in at that moment. I love pin up art, Gothic and whimsical art. It doesn't take much to get me inspired to create. I love the animated movies of "Tim Burton"...watching his movies totally inspire me. One of my dreams would be to design a character or characters for one of his movies. One of my dreams was to visit Paris. And that dream came true! I have never in my entire life seen a place as beautiful as Paris. So much beauty, so much passion in Paris. Being there for only a week was not long enough. I went with my brother and my niece. My brother had warned me that when I go to Paris I'm not going to want to come back to California. And he was right! Seeing Paris was like "falling in love" all over again. Seeing all the artists painting near the Seine River was just amazing! I could of sat there for hours and hours just watching the artists draw portraits. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Every street corner was a work of art. I can honestly say I leftt my heart in Paris. I can't wait to go back! I'm very determined to make Paris my home. Several doors have opened up for me regarding my art work....and as each door opens thats just one step closer to Paris. I know now in my heart that if you want something so bad you must work towards it, and it will happen. Always follow your dreams....always!
