PERSONAL PROFILE - ARA AEON
Ara Aeon, also called Ara the Artist, is a powerful contemporary visionary painter. She grew up during the Abstract Expressionist era and through her father, who was an abstract expressionist, and came to know many of the famous names of that era, in person. Surrounded by abstract expressionism, from the earliest age of 4 she was also drawn to the renaiscance painters who painted luminous spiritual figures and celestial realms. She studied formally formany years with the most outstanding portrait artists of our time as well as continuing to pain her own abstract and abstract expressionist style paintings. She studied science and chemistry, the elemental constructions of the universe we live in. Her curiosity,her deep need to observe and study are the core elements of her person and come to fruition in these spectacular images of stars planets and heavens in the process of profound change.
At this time all these points of consciousness have merged into the one visionary painter she is today. She called her work VISIONARY EXPRESSIONISM. It is a natural outgrowth of Abstract Expressionism, moving from Artists eternal concern with light, consciousness and the nature of our world. She views her work as completeing the spiritual cycle of Art from the focus of western images of light heaven, through the view of sacredness of daily life and the light of natural day (from the sun) with the Impressionists to again the view of heaven in a larger contemporary view that reflects the global concerns of humanity everywhere and the emergence of a greater heavenly light for mankind.
Gifted in many areas of creation Ara has also won many writing awards and scholarships. She travelled to Italy where she married a well known Artist and has a daughter Elektra Eva who is also a conceptual artist with outstanding gallery shows in New York. Ara's work over the many years of her spiritual quest, meditation and channeling through her paintings has brought her full circle to the portrayal of the celestial heavens. She lives and paints in the East village in Manhattan, New York.
THE PROCESS OF ARA'S PAINTING "When I paint, I prepare all of my materials, I declare my intention and then I completely surrender and let the visions flow through me instantaneously, without changes of any kind. The artist, environment, conditions of that moment, materials, all the factors of that one eternal moment are present and transferred instantaneously to the canvas."
Of her work she says, "What is within, is without", meaning that within each living creature on the planet earth there is a vision of heaven. "My role as an artist can be nothing less than being an instrument of the messages from a Higher Source for our time". No sentence could have greater meaning in this turbulent time when the earth is moving into new heavenly alignment to provide the field for the development of Human Consciousness. She further says, "For the first time, perhaps in the history of mankind the window is opening for the communciation of celestial forces to man. I hope that the viewer can receive that inspiration from my images" Ara's work is her vision of the messages of the planets and stars to man and a symbol for human kind to follow, Look within and affirm what is in harmony, what is truthful, what is right. Take action and prepare a future for all generations, a future of light, of promise,awareness and vigilance.
Ara Apocalypse Art 2012 is a portfolio of some of her many works, which until now have been sequestered in privacy. "The time was not right in the past for me to show what I was seeing within. The time has now arrived, we are almost to the point of full convulsions of the earth who begs for our love and care so that our race may continue. It is my prayer that our race will come together in peace, love and light, that we may express the truth and sacrifice all to attain it for the future of our generations to come."
